A friend of mine is planning to open a Bad Ass Coffee franchise and gave me a sample of this blend. I consider myself a coffee connoisseur. I like what I like. This coffee did not disappoint. This medium roast is rich and smooth. I don't necessarily taste Jasmine or berry. It's bold without being bitter. I would rate it as high as my favorite coffees all over the planet.

Coffee quick as a wink; an aroma that's second to none. Only way it could get any better, would be if you were drinking it there in Hawaii.

I usually get Volcanic or Pele's blend but thought I'd try a small bag of this as a tester. Sadly for me I did not read the tasting notes! The berry/fruity taste does come through. I do not usually like fruity coffee due to the aftertaste but it did not really hang around in this blend. Still, the fruit was a bit much for me so I added a pinch of salt which toned it down perfectly. Still good coffee but I'll return to my favorites. If you like fruity - this is for you!
