This varietal hails from Ethiopia. The plant came through the Yemeni port of Mokka, from which the name comes, to the fertile, volcanic fields of Maui, where the perfect growing conditions add to taste of this Maui grown coffee. This tiny little bean is full of flavor and aroma. Maui Mokka has a lightly acidic beginning with a clear chocolaty undertone, full of flavor, with a crisp and smooth finish. It has been called the champagne of Maui coffees, we just call it Bad Ass Maui Mokka ! Roasted to a full city roast to let the flavor speak for itself.
